I really like the manly new Man Man album Life Fantastic. Listen and be confused:

I took over as the new volunteer webmaster for the Adirondack 46ers last summer and since then I’ve been redesigning their website little by little. Last week I was finally able to launch the new design, alongside a new book from the 46ers. http://www.adk46r.org. The new site is HTML5, WordPress backed, and the 6000+ name roster is much snappier than it used to be. Click the screenshot below and tell me what you think.
I don’t love their new album, but I do like this unique sounding new song from The Mountain Goats:
“High Hawk Season” by The Mountain Goats from All Eternals Deck

Buck 65 is calling his new album 20 Odd Years “the most beautiful hip hop record ever made” on twitter. He might be right. My favorite track:
Bright Eyes, one of my favorite bands, wrote a song about the singularity, one of my favorite awesome predictions about the future. I cannot begin to describe how happy it makes me that I can get my Bright Eyes and technological singularity from one song. I’m really enjoying Bright Eyes’s new album. This is a great song to listen to while we wait for the singularity to get here…

I don’t love this as much as Arcade Fire’s previous album Neon Bible, but this is still my favorite album of 2010. It’s nearly perfect. I was lucky enough to see them last summer in Montreal at Osheaga. Here’s a song from this album.

I’ve been listening to Kokayi’s new album Robots and Dinaosaurs this week. I heard of him on The Hype Machine too. This song is my favorite:
I found this guy Hoodie Allen on The Hype Machine today. His mixtape “Pep Rally” is available for free on his website. His style and the way that he is releasing his music for free reminds me of early Kid Cudi. I’m predicting that he’ll be as popular as Kid Cudi soon. Download the rest of the album.
We launched Saul’s website yesterday: www.saulkurtz.com. I did the design and coding. Saul is my musically talented friend. He has a concert in London on Saturday. We are in love. Check out his website, subscribe to his mailing list, and download his free song “Just Fine”.
